This garden in Pheasants Hill was designed by Cathy Cornish from Wild to Wonderful garden designs. We created easily maintainable oak sleeper vegetable beds, re-defined the lawn with flowing form and laid brick edging. Along the way we had to extend a crazy york pathway, remove trees and build up the back area of the garden to the same level as the lawn.
This is a garden completed for the Culdenfaw Estate in Hambleden. It is the Old Rectory Cottage that has undergone a complete refurbishment. It is a rented house so the garden was designed to be as little maintenance as possible. It is situated on a very steep slope so the garden has been terraced using oak sleepers and then we imported soil to bring up the levels and turfed it. The Garden has two terraces which catch the afternoon and evening sun. This has just been completed this last summer, so we look forward to seeing the plants and new hedges mature.
This estate in Fawley has recently been undergoing a huge change, These pictures are of maintenance of a rose garden boasting a variety of over 400 different roses. The parterre garden as you can see from start to finish by clicking on this link is a stunning example of a country house garden. The Landscape of this garden is drastically changing with the redevelopment of the house, so the garden is work in progress with many new features. More pictures will be put up over this next year.
